Shar (aka SharStar) is a Writer | Director who studied filmmaking at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts & UCLA’s Extension program.  Her stories are largely urban based and explore hip hop culture, spirituality, single motherhood, family, community & relationships.  She enjoys facilitating filmmaking workshops to underserved communities as a Co-op member of The Echo Park Film Center.  You can also catch her on EPFC’s Radio Show, Optical Track during her “AlgoRhythm” hour, which premieres every 2nd and 4th Tuesday on Dublab.com.
