Kandi Cole - Back In The Day

Kandi Cole’s music is empowering and fun. This song is a celebration of the Golden Era of Hip Hop.  I wanted to be sure that Kandi’s video had a sense of nostalgia by merging eras through the use of green screen, bright colors, classic album covers and 16mm film.

Kandi Cole 16mm Storyline

16 mm film gives the “Back in the Day” visual texture to any movie.  I enjoyed working with this film stock to create the flashback sequence between the sisters.
